Hudson County is the smallest and 4th most populated county in the state and is located in North Jersey. There are 12 municipalities in the county including Weehawken, Bayonne, East Newark, Hoboken, Secaucus, Harrison, Guttenberg, Union City, Jersey City, North Bergen, Kearny and West New York. Bergen County borders it in the north and Essex County and Union County are at its left and southern border.
In 1840, Hudson County was founded and officially named for Henry Hudson. Its largest city is Jersey City. It’s known for its beautiful Manhattan Skyline views as seen across from the Hudson River.
